Features:
. Increased torque transfer to the rear at accelerations gives more consistent
behaviour and more oversteered handling for sportier behaviour
. Faster torque transfer respond as a function of how fast the driver pushes the throttle pedal. Haldex system prepares to transfer torque before actual torque is delivered from Engine to the driveline.
. At higher speeds the torque will decrease which gives less oversteering and safer handling. Understeering gives a safer feeling of the vehicle.
. All safety features works as in the original software, for example during ABS braking or an ESP intervention the coupling will stop transferring torque to avoid interference with the safety systems.

New performance software for generation 2 developed by Haldex that has an option where the driver can choose between
3 different parameter settings.
Option 1.
As default when no switch is installed the software is fixed in sport mode which will give the car a sportier and more over steered handling performance.
Option 2.
Installing a switch that can be mounted on the dashboard and the driver will have the possibilities to choose between 3 different parameter settings.
Standard setting. Standard mode is similar to the original setting in the standard vehicle.
This mode is recommended to be used during normal driving.
Sport setting. Sport mode will make the handling more fun and sportier with increased torque transfer to the rear axle during accelerations.
Racing setting. Racing mode will increase the torque transfer to the rear axle even more during accelerations and also react faster depending on how fast the driver pushes the throttle.
All safety features works as in the original software, for example during ABS braking or an ESP intervention the coupling will stop transferring torque to avoid interference with the cars safety systems.

Option 1.
As default when no switch or remote control is installed the software is fixed in Race mode which will give the car a
sportier and more over steered handling performance. Excellent at the track or just for fun active driving.
Option 2.
Installing a switch or a remote control the driver will have the possibilities to choose between 3 different parameter
settings.
Eco. Developed for fuel efficiency and increased durability of driveline parts. This tuning reduces the torque transfer during normal highway driving (coasting), but will immediately engage the system if a wheel starts to slip to prevent decreased traction capabilities
This mode is recommended to be used when 4 wheel drive is not a high priority as in highway driving, Commuting etc.
Stock. Standard mode is similar to the original setting in the standard vehicle.
This mode is recommended to be used for normal driving.
Race. Race mode will increase close to maximum torque transfer to the rear axle during accelerations and active driving. It also reacts faster due to the driver’s intentions and locks up for more torque before actual torque is available from the engine.
All safety features works as in the original software, for example during ABS braking or an ESP intervention the coupling will stop transferring torque to avoid interference with the cars safety systems.

Good day all
First up, a big thanks to all of you who have shown such a keen interest in REVO and, in particular, our featured promotion for the Castrol GP Xtreme Motor Show. The response to the pre-registration has been overwhelming, to say the least, but due to the limitation in space and time constraints, the numbers will have to be limited and, as such, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get around to all the cars, especially those who have paid but who have registered late.
We reiterate that in order to secure your spot for the show special (SPS Device plus a 20% discount on a REVO Stage 1 tune), payment must be made no later than 19th April 2010. We apologise for making an error on our initial VAG Technik update.
You are urged to please reply by way of email to confirm that you will indeed be taking the special. This will help us in getting the final numbers in for the special.
How will it work?
Due to factors such as space constraints, high demands and the expected numbers of people who will be attending the show, it is a near impossible task to tune all the cars at the Show. Therefore, all the tunes will take place after the week/weekend following the closure of the show on 27th April 2010. Since the number of pre-registrations are high, VAG Technik undertakes to schedule a time slot which will be mutually convenient.
Why do I need to attend the show?
As a confirmed customer, on presentation of your invoice at the upcoming show, you will receive your SPS Device (which will qualify you for the special). Should you be unable to attend the show, we shall be grateful of you could kindly notify us at least 3 days prior thereto to enable us to make the necessary alternative arrangements.
