Date : Sunday 23 May 2010

Time : Gates open at 6am, racing starts at 8am. Final race is at 6pm.
Venue : Tarlton Raceway (Map)
Entrance : R180 per competing car. Spectators free.
MSA : Is required, and can be bought online, or at the track on the day.
Limit : 100 cars. First 100 cars to have paid, race.

Classes

VAG1 – 2.0T K03 (GTI’s, A3s, A4s etc)
VAG2 – K04 (Leon, Cupra and any other FWD car with k04 )
1.8T (all 1.8T vag cars)
AWD (All 4wd cars)
4NA (4cyl FWD NA cars)
4FI – Big Turbos and other brands
ST (If more than 15 ST’s register)
6A (6cyl rear wheel drive cars)
6B (6cyl rear wheel drive turbo cars…ie 135…335 and the likes)
8A (8cyl cars)
Open Class – cars with NOS, V10s and the likes

Facilities

Ample grand stands for spectators, as well as grassy areas for chairs and umbrellas.
Food/Drinks will be on sale.
Medical staff on hand for racers and spectators.
Toilets next to track

Rules

Payment secures entry.
Based on the information you fill in on the registration form, we will decide which class you fall into.
Street legal cars only.
Cars will be scrutinized before racing.
Tyres : For the VAG1 and VAG2 classes, only standard tyres are allowed. For the rest of the classes any tyres are allowed.

Extreme Revo special feedback

Good day all

First up, a big thanks to all of you who have shown such a keen interest in REVO and, in particular, our featured promotion for the Castrol GP Xtreme Motor Show. The response to the pre-registration has been overwhelming, to say the least, but due to the limitation in space and time constraints, the numbers will have to be limited and, as such, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to get around to all the cars, especially those who have paid but who have registered late.

We reiterate that in order to secure your spot for the show special (SPS Device plus a 20% discount on a REVO Stage 1 tune), payment must be made no later than 19^th April 2010. We apologise for making an error on our initial VAG Technik update.

You are urged to please reply by way of email to confirm that you will indeed be taking the special. This will help us in getting the final numbers in for the special.

How will it work?

Due to factors such as space constraints, high demands and the expected numbers of people who will be attending the show, it is a near impossible task to tune all the cars at the Show. Therefore, all the tunes will take place after the week/weekend following the closure of the show on 27^th April 2010. Since the number of pre-registrations are high, VAG Technik undertakes to schedule a time slot which will be mutually convenient.

Why do I need to attend the show?

As a confirmed customer, on presentation of your invoice at the upcoming show, you will receive your SPS Device (which will qualify you for the special). Should you be unable to attend the show, we shall be grateful of you could kindly notify us at least 3 days prior thereto to enable us to make the necessary alternative arrangements.

The following prices includes your Stage 1 tune. Please note: The SPS Select Plus is absolutely FREE and no fee will be levied.

Xtreme Revo special!

Hi Guys

This year VAG Technik have teamed up with partners Revo Technik to bringyou the Xtreme Revo special! Catch us at the Castrol Xtreme Autoshow at the Dome between the 24th to 27th April at STAND 136.

Due to the location, no mapping will be taking place at the show but that shouldn’t stop you from purchasing our special offer! In order to qualify for the deal you will need to preregister here http://www.vagtechnik.co.za/registration-form/

Note that we will NOT have any credit card facilities at our stand and therefore all purchases will need to be made by way of EFT or Cash. EFT purchases will need to be made atleast 2 days before the show. You will then be given your SPS device at the show and a booking will be made for your tune.

An exciting new range of Revo Technik products will be launched at the show as well so be sure to check us out! Dare i say that this will be the official launch WORLDWIDE for these new products.
